Week 4, Day 2

Pretend I posted this last night!

Well...let's see...I went to bed at 1:00AM and woke up at 4:00AM to continue my readings and preparing my presentation. I had a poptart at work, because I was starving by 10 and had no food. Then I ate a small bowl of leftover lo mein....Dinner consisted of a bowl of cereal at 4, then some chips with hummus at 10. HORRIBLE DAY!!! I had worked all morning, then went to class to do a presentation...didn't get home until 10PM. Needless to say...I didn't work out.

But...today (really...today) should be better. I am not nearly as busy as yesterday, and I actually got like 7 hours of sleep last night. YAY!!

Week 4, Day 1 Update

Today was just as busy as the other days. I worked all morning, came home, ate, started reading for class, had to take care of some pet business...and now I'm reading again. I took a break to do this, just so I don't get yelled at anymore.

Food today:
Breakfast: Cup of coffee, half of an apple
Lunch: 1/4 of a mushroom and onion calzone (this thing was huge!)
Snack: A cookie
Dinner: 1 small bowl of vegetable lo mein, and a spring roll
Dessert: a bite of cheesecake

Not the best food day, but definitely not the worst. I drank a lot of water too. I didn't get to work out due to the above mentioned reading and stuff. I plan on staying up all night working on a presentation...YAY SCHOOL!!! :P

Week 4, Day 1

I suck! I know this...and my current weight loss shows why. In the last two weeks while I wasn't updating, I gained a pound.

Weight this morning: 171lbs
Total Weight loss: 3lbs

I am a little behind...but I'm starting back up full force today. These last two weeks were just extremely busy, I don't know where the time even went. I will post tonight what I ate and how much I worked out.

I can't let up anymore...thank you to everyone who has pressured me to start posting again. I am my own worst enemy!

Week 2 Day 2

ok...I know I've slacked, but there have been reasons. 1) the fair 2) got sick 3) had class last night...

I weighed myself this morning: 170
Loss of .5 lbs

Total loss: 4lbs.

I will let you all know that my weight fluxuated a lot this week. A couple of days ago I was 168...either way...I'm still on track averaging 2lbs per week! I will update later tonight.

Day 12

Today (pretend I'm posting this last night), I made up for lack of working out I've done in the last couple of days.

We woke up in the morning and went on a bike ride. The ride itself was about six and a half miles...but...one of those miles was seriously nonstop uphill. I almost died (dramatic, I know). I seriously had to stop about 3 or 4 times while going up in order to not:
a) die
b) throw up
c) pass out, or
d) fall over

anyways...we made it...and one day I will conquer that damn hill without all of the above feelings.
Then we went shopping and I got rollerblades!!! yay!!! So of course we had to break them in. So later that evening we went to the park and rollerbladed next to the lake. It was wonderful, except for the fact that I probably looked like a loser on rollerblades since it had been so long and I felt like a 6 year old trying to get used to them for the first time! It was still fun though, and I felt that by the end I had kind of gotten the hang of it.

Food time!

Breakfast: Coffee and a fiber bar

Lunch: Eggplant moussaka and a salad

Dinner: a bowl of soup and a slice of yummy garlic bread (which I am still tasting)

Desert: 4 sections of a Milka chocolate bar and a no sugar jello pudding (I deserved a little reward for all my hard work!)

Days 10 & 11

Ok, so I've been pretty bad about blogging this week...but it's just been super busy!!

Yesterday I was pretty good. I had a shake in the morning, a fiber bar for a snack, and my remaining two raviolis for lunch. Then for dinner we went to Emy's department bbq. There I was a little worse. I ate a veggie burger, and some pita with hummus...and perhaps a mini cookie or two. I also had a couple sips of beer later that night.

Today we went to the farmer's market and got tons of peaches and tomatoes! They were selling them for ridiculously cheap prices...following that we went to Sam's Club and bought a couple of things...like some more fiber bars (they are the new kellogs fiber one bars that are frikin amazing!)

For breakfast I had a cup of coffee and one of those fiber bars. For lunch we pigged out...but not in a bad way. Emy and I each had one pita. We ate it with a little hummus and labne...alongside we cut up some cucumbers, onions, arabic pickles, and some cherry tomatoes. We also each had one boiled egg...following the amazing lunch we took a long nap, woke up and started cooking and cleaning (as we had some friends coming over for dinner).

Dinner consisted of 1 slice of homemade olive bread and a bowl of soup (fantastic! Thanks Coucourou!). Then I ate a little bit of Emy's eggplant moussaka with some nonfat yogurt. It was a wonderful dinner with good friends :)

Tomorrow I'm going to have to work out some more. These hours just fly by every day. Soon it will be time to weigh in again.

Side note: once I hit day 14, I'm going to start saying Week 2, day 1...etc. It would be a little ridiculous to be like...day 176.

Day 9

Emy got back into town the other night, which is why I have not blogged...ok lets see...

today was an ok food day.

Breakfast: Protein shake and a fiber bar (which was damn tasty...shocking I know)

10am Snack: A peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which was intended to be lunch

1:00pm lunch: 2 cheese raviolis

5:00 dinner: a soy "chicken" sandwich and corn on the cob....mmmmmm

after dinner we went on a 5 1/2 mile bike ride, which was really nice. We met a cool old dude who bikes a lot and told us about a group of people that go on "short" (25-30mile) bike rides 3 times a week...so we might be joining his friends this weekend :)

Now that Emy's home I can start packing good lunches and not going out to eat. We did a lot of grocery shopping last night!
